Another reason I left the Episcopal Church was due to a lack of biblical authority. I found that the church was more concerned with social justice and political correctness than with upholding the teachings of the Bible. The church seemed to be more interested in appeasing the culture than in standing firm on biblical truth.

For example, the church’s decision to remove masculine pronouns from its liturgy was a clear departure from biblical teachings. The Bible clearly refers to God as “He” and “Father,” and the church’s decision to change this was a clear attempt to be more inclusive and politically correct.

Lack of Spiritual Depth

Finally, I left the Episcopal Church because I found that it lacked spiritual depth. The church seemed more concerned with socializing and community building than with fostering a deep and meaningful relationship with God. The services were often more like social gatherings than worship services, and I found that I was not growing spiritually as a result.

Overall, my decision to leave the Episcopal Church was a difficult one, but one that I felt was necessary for my spiritual growth and well-being. While I respect the church and its members, I could no longer align myself with its teachings and practices.
